The main wine growing countries in the CIS region are located in the Black Sea region. This area is an ancient region for wine growing. Growing high quality wine grape requires high technology, starting from the graft, via nutrition, disease control until harvesting and production of the product-wine.
In this segment we have developed a special product with the optimal mix of macro and micro elements – “Nutrivant Plus Grape”.
It is common knowledge that grape takes out a lot of macro and micro elements from the soil during the development and growth. For replenishing and fast delivery of these elements we propose “Nutrivant Plus Grape”. “Nutrivant Plus Grape” contains a balanced mix of macro and micro elements corresponding to the physiological needs of grape. It is characterized by high physical and chemical properties. Foliar nutrition with “Nutrivant Plus Grape” leads to substantial growth of productivity and quality of the crop.
“Nutrivant Plus” application provides:
- Increase of yield by 3-5 tons per hectare;
- Increase of sugar content by 0.5-2%;
- Improvement of consumption of nutritive elements by grapes' root system from soil and fertilizers;
- Elimination of deficiency of phosphorus, potassium and magnesium;
- Strengthening growth and acceleration of maturing of grapes;
- Stimulation of biochemical processes and grapes resistance to fungi and virus diseases. As well as on other cultures “Nutrivant Plus” has fungicide qualities, protecting in particular, against development of Mildew and Oidium on grape.
- Less stress symptoms, especially after pesticide treatments;
- Raw material quality improvement;
- Increase of winter endurance/resistance;
- Increase in the quality of buds.

“Nutrivant Plus Grape” has been applied by many agricultural farms. Foliar applications on grape have been applied in three phases: first application was by 5-8 leafs and flowering (2 kg/ha), second application at the end of flowering and the beginning of formation of bunches (2 kg/ha), third application after start of ripening of bunches (2 kg/ha). The results are very positive. Application of “Nutrivant Plus Grape” allows grape plants to reach maximum sugar content from 5 till 15 days earlier than without it. The yield increase is from 80 to 250 kg per hectare and sugar content increases 0,5-2 %. On all grape variants has been observed substantial growth of bunches weight, increase of sugar content and earlier ripening of grape. Specialists have also observed obvious fungicide properties of “Nutrivant Plus Grape”.
Foliar nutrition is performed in three stages:
- Phase 1: budding (before flowering);
- Phase 2: grapes reach the size about a pea; leaves
- Phase 3: in 12-15 days after the second application.
“Nutrivant Plus Grape” is recommended to be applied in the working solution simultaneously with pesticides. Optimum application norm of fertilizer is 4-8 kg/hectare. If necessary, we recommend foliar nutrition every 14 days with norm up to 40 kg/hectare for a season. The working solution for foliar nutrition with “Nutrivant Plus Grape” should be not less than 350 - 500 l/ha.
