“Nutrivant Plus Oil crops”

Foliar application on different oil crops - sunflower, soya, oil seed raps is growing rapidly. These cultures, as it is known, are in high demand as well as food stuff, and also a bio fuel raw material.

 

        Foliar feeding with “Nutrivant Plus” provides:

 

 - Increase in productivity of oil crops of 0,4-1 t/ha and improvement of parameters of its quality;
- Improvement of nutritive consumption by crops root system from the soil;
- Stimulates biological processes and protects plants against fungi and viral diseases;
- Eliminates stress, especially by application of plant protection products;
- High payback of applied fertilizers in soya;

 

 

 

 

Soya. Among oil crops soya is characterized by high sensitivity to deficiency of micro elements: manganese, molybdenum and zinc. The critical periods for micro elements are budding phases and first beans formation phase. On soya is recommended application three times - the first in the spring combined with application of herbicides during 3-5 leaves, the second is from 5-6 leaves up to budding and the third foliar feeding in the summer before beginning of maturing of the bottom beans. For each application is recommended 2 kg/ha of “Nutrivant Plus Oil crops”, and the last summer application is recommended to include 1-2 % of urea in the working solution.

 

 

  

Sunflower is very sensitive to deficiency of manganese, zinc, boron, copper, iron and sulfur. During vegetation of sunflower the critical period concerning manganese is considered 6-8 pairs leaves phase. “Nutrivant Plus Oil crops” contains a physiologically balanced micro element mix considering the needs of each oil culture, the proportion of the biogenic elements providing normal growth and development of these crops.

 

 

 

 

 
For sunflower is recommended one application in the spring, dosage 3-4 kg/ha in the 3 up to 7 leaves phase. (Some manufacturers of sunflower practice several applications of “Nutrivant Plus”, as a rule finishing processing up to 11 pairs leaves). The recommended working solution volume is 200 l/ha.

 
Oil seed raps. The critical periods for manganese and boron in Raps are 7-8 leaves stage and budding phases. The recommended application scheme for winter Raps is spraying with “Nutrivant Plus Oil crops” three times. In the autumn, in the spring and during budding phase with 2 kg/ha for each application. “Nutrivant Plus” on spring Raps is applied in the same phases: up to 7-8 leaves and budding phase. Thus for two application the crops are treated with 4-6 kg/ha.

 

 

 

Autumn application:

 

- Avoids excessive development;
- Stimulates accumulation of assimilates, sugars and other nutrients in roots;
- Increases frost resistance.

 

 
Spring application:

- More vigorous spring growing;
- Increase intensity of flowering;
- Provides more uniform pods maturing on the main and lateral shoots;
- Reduces danger of bending or falling because of possible nitrogen surplus.

 

 

 

 

All test and production results of “Nutrivant Plus Oil crops” foliar application in regions on oil crops show substantial increase the yield and quality.

 

 

 Trial field in Russia, Belgorod region.
“Nutrivant Plus Oil” has been applied on Soya and Sunflower one time in dosage 3 kg/ha. And the same time the yield of Soya has been increased on 100 kg/ha and protein content by 2%. The yield of Sunflower was increased by 200 kg/ha and oil content 3%.

 

Trial field in Ukraine, Poltava region.
In Poltava area “Nutrivant Plus Oil” has been applied on Soya in phase at the beginning of budding (2 kg/ha) and phase of ripening of beans (2 kg/ha). The yield of Soya has been increased by 350 kg/ha. Application of “Nutrivant Plus Oil” on sunflower in the phase of 8 leafs (3 kg/ha) allowed to get 380 kg/ha more than on control.

 

Trial field in Belarus, Minsk.
In “Soil science and Agricultural chemistry Institute” of Minsk, winter Raps has been applied of “Nutrivant Plus Oil” in the phase of  growing (2 kg/ha) and in the phase at the beginning of budding (2 kg/ha). Foliar application with “Nutrivant Plus Oil” has allowed to get extra 700 kg/ha of yield and 2% increase of protein content.

 

Considering the importance of oil crops for farm economy and also high efficiency of foliar application on these crops it is easy to predict good prospects of such application.
